Also terrarium Tv would be a bonus. Rather ditch the android tv box and run both iptv and ttv. Sony has play store but LG smartiptv is ok too.. Thoughts??

OLED LG for a TV is a great bet if you can afford it. But on that note if you are already splurging that deep why mess around with a smart tv setup/interface, which despite the overall cost of the tv itself and for what you are specifically asking about is going to be an inferior experience to a solid dedicated android box.
I get that people love an all-in-one concept, but in the end you are really just limiting yourself there. Add a Nvidia Shield to your shopping cart and don't look back.
Agree. LG over Sony for sure.
I have an OLED tv plus the Shield TV with Kodi installed. Wouldn't trade either one for anything else.
Tbh, for iptv doesnt really matter. I have an oled tv and it matters when you are playing good content.. not heavily compressed 1080p content and 4k, hdr..etc.. Most iptv content is heavily compressed and look cheap. Obvious, I know..we get what we pay for
The iptv app on the LG is great imo.
Thanks for all the feedback.
I would get the OLED LG with a BuzzTv XPL 3000 or Formuler T2, cost half the cost of a Nvidia Shield and does IPTV better in my opinion
OLED has a better picture, especially deep blacks. Sony does not even make their TVs, they outsourced that to Hon Hai. LG makes their own displays panel, so I would avoid Sony, since the times of Trinitron WEGA they knows shit about TVs.
