THIS IS NOT GOOD. Not good for Flawless.. It was not for ACE and will not be any provider that follows this model.

Ignore the fact that Flawless has gone bitcoin only.. That is just the end result. What most of you are missing is the ... WHY? Ask yourself WHY did FLAWLESS go bitcoin only. Did they decide to stop take Paypal? The answer is NO. Something happened to their Paypal account. It got limited and locked.

I been a lurker here for a long time. I read through all the ACE issues, SET issues... etc etc. and all the trolling and censorship of this subreddit.

Here is may take.

-Flawless never thought they get this large.

-Flawless thought they were going to be legit hence they registered with HMRC as Flawless Hosting. They planned to pay taxes and such. Registered with real identities. All would be good. After all they were selling hosting.

BUT THEY GOT LARGE

(self admitted 20,000 connected at once during big events which means they got 50,000+ subscribers)

-The money was good. People were happy.

-Advertised everywhere.

-Proclaimed VPN Free Sundays. Proclaimed setting the standards

-They got arrogant, felt invincible, never paid taxes

Per public records

-They never filed any paper with HMRC... meaning NO TAXES paid

-Company was going to get dissolved

-Then 1/2 staff mod left and quit before company was dissolved. Some where original creators. MY take: Heat is getting turned up either by EPL or HMRC

-Company dissolved May 15

Now Paypal is locked/limited and taking bitcoin only. Companies do not do this on purpose. Their Paypal is locked and is mostly likely being investigated..... by whom and why? I am willing to bet UK tax is reviewing all Paypal transactions now.

they registered with real name and probably real name on Paypal (since they were trying to be legal. not hard to find out ho owns Flawless and who has the most to lose? Its all public records.... and he lives in the UK.

I know he reads this subreddit. Time to move to another country or throw in the towel. Read what happen to ACE.. since they follow your model exactly... Wipe all your servers before handle so you can at least protect your resellers and subscribers.

This does sounds like the beginning of the end of Flawless. This sounds very similiar to ACE. A lot of disinformation/incorrect/rumors and so forth. I fully expect Flawless to go reseller only.. and then soon stop selling all together... and then taken down by the authorities.. EPL or UK police.

I do agree with everyone here. Their Paypal account is getting audited and reviewed.. and whatever bank account linked to it is getting audit and reviewed as well.

I just do not understand why any IPTV company would register as a legal company in the UK. I am hearing it was to get a Paypal business account... and look where it got them. It just does not make sense... Anybody who reads this subreddit knows the real name of the Flawless owner...why in the world does every one know the owner of Flawless real legal name... Just like we know Craig Driscoll and Ian Isaac from ACE

I am confused as to how paying in bitcoin pays for the servers, when paying in money doesnt. The only way that works is if they are charging more equivalent bitcoins than they were in cash, basically a price hike. Otherwise charging $10 in cash, or $10 in bitcoin is no different....

It would seem the reason for that is their paypal account has probably been shut down as others have mentioned. So it has nothing to do with paying the bills and everything to do with being able to bring in payments AT ALL.

They now hope to have PayPal back this week according to Ronnie on their Facebook page.

****** READ PLEASE ****** So, we appologise for the issues you have had. We have now worked very hard and as it stands, Paypal will be back this week. So those of you on subs that has expired, you have a choice. use Bitcoin but you need to figure it out how to use using guides on the page you make profile or google. If you dont want to use bitCoin, you can simply wait until Paypal is back. It will be back this week. Third option is to leave the service.

Flawless had a problem with paypal last year too for a few days where their account wouldn't accept payments. It was sorted in the end. I assume this will be too.

BTW, where is /u /flawlesshosting ? I wonder why he has not jumped in to tell us how wrong we are..

The moderators in the Facebook group seem to be trying their best with limited information, saying PayPal is "down" - they're using an off the shelf PayPal integration so obviously their account has been frozen rather than a technical problem.

Saw one of the moderators claim that Stripe uses PayPal earlier... if they want to reassure customers they should probably make sure their mods aren't just making up answers (even though they're doing it with good intentions).

I think the writing was always on the wall regardless of how many times they tried to reassure their subscribers enough to squeeze out more subs. i think generally this is going to be the norm we're going to look back in a few years time and highlight this period for when IPTV started to decline

They should just go bitcoin, ether, litecoin, nano and allow a range of currencies

Wow..the amount of morons here who are saying using bitcoin is the end of the fucking world. This is nothing. Using bitcoin, and other cryptocurrency is just the next logical step in hiding your monies from everyone. But needless to say, every single transaction in bitcoin is publicly available on the ledgers :).

If you're all scared of this, well then I bet you just love the fact that the recent bust of ACE had them handing over the names, email addresses, credit card info and all other data on every single one of their customers :) Paypal and credit cards are easier, yes, but once your provider is busted, so are you. Or do you think they'll protect your candy little ass?
