Hi community, using iptv currently with Kodi. I am wondering if there are better solutions for watching iptv.
What are you smart guys using?

Enigma2. Vu+Zero4k or the Zgemma H9S are both great. Bit of a pain to set up but by far the best watching experience.
Xiaomi Mi Box should be enough
the best options are
Mag boxes,
Dreamlink boxes,
Formuler boxes,
my recommendation is these two boxes:
dreamlink T2 is very nice, 1 GB ram
if you like to run a lot of apps, you can get formuler Z7+ which has 2 GB ram.
Lots of options on Android. Stb emu is one and smarters app is another
I like the Android boxes because you can add so much to them. I am currently running a BuzzTV box and i love it!
formuler z7+ or go fuck your mother
Here is my way to in depth review of the two best Cable like IPTV boxes. You will see I started with Kodi, then android box, then wanted cable like experience.

which box have you decided to buy?
please dont forget to post a review for all of us here. it helps us decide in buying boxes as well.
I now tested the Formuler 7z+. First impression is horribly disappointed. Kodi runs same speed like from RaspberryPi2B. Freezes with the 6.000 channels provided by KingBox with SimpleIPTV addon. Tried the preinstalled MythTV with M3U. Not working. Tried username password in portal. Freaked out typing all the shit in via remote controller. Still not working.
thanks for your recommendations. My takeaway is:
Hardware: Android based (lower end: BuzzTV upper end: your mother's formuler z7+)
Software: Stb emu, smarters app
Is there an OpenVPN Manger for android to connect the device on startup? What about scripting (i.e. pull your lastest m3u from your provider) how does it work on android? Does the box have a shell (android shell? and is it similar to bash shell of unix systems?).
Thanks !
