I’ve had a few providers but I find myself unable to skip commercials on catchup. If I try to fast forward on DOL it either skips hours or doesn’t do anything at all. Does anybody else experience this?

Hard wired or wireless?
try doing a factory reset on your device and reconfigure it.
For some reason if I used a keyboard, not the provided remote, and I scrolled VOD with the arrow keys right=forward
left = back
The catchup worked perfectly fine and scrolled to the spot I wanted. This was not true when I used the remote.
If you have a keyboard that connects to device USB give it a shot.
I have a T2 and catchup can be a crapshoot. Sometimes it works brilliantly. Other times if I try to fast forward the stream it starts me at the beginning of the program. Other times I get caught in a buffer loop with the same 10 seconds or so of content repeating itself.
My best bet is to start catchup and not touch the remote!
I don’t know if this is the box or the streams...
