He's talking about a potential disruption in where some IPTV providers get their source channels. Some of the older Virgin boxes are vulnerable to card sharing so when those are gone that source disappears.
If you pay close attention when watching some providers you can see theyre capped in Ireland on Virgin. Its this kind of source that could dry up. Itll probably be sourced from elsewhere if thats the case
I didn't say it was impossible i even gave two options all i said was that it was not longer possible via card sharing so potentially limiting the amount of channels available on the face of only the suppliers actually know what going to happen.We do know that the virgin CS will no longer be an option i guess only time will tell

"Card Sharing" has been all but nullified by VM's code change. They've taken all the HD S y Sports channels offline, barring S y News and S*y Mix.
The movie channels are all in HD still but will no doubt be incorporated into the code change. I think that's what the OP's talking about. I don't know how bad the IPTV clan will be effected as I thought of "card sharing" to influence cable/sat boxes.

I am that guy and to confirm after the 1st of August card sharing will no longer be freely available via Virgin Media I believe this also includes the Irish feeds. As the majority of IPTV feeds are from this source it's going to have a major impact on the supplier and the end user, as I see it the supplier has two real choices
1 The supplier subscribes to virgin or sky for every single channel ie a separate box for every single channel personally I think this is impossible due to the cost.
2 The supplier subscribes to sky sports via now tv offering the end user sky sports, movies and a very limited bouquet of entertainment channels.
Option 2 comes with the caveat that each subscription can only stream two channels at one time so multiple monthly will be needed also the source, for the time being, will be capped at 720p.
If any IPTV provider tells you that they can still offer every UK channel they are either lying or they have invested a stupid amount of money to bring them to you.
