There are two versions of the Z7+. The North American version, which is distributed by Dreamlink but still branded as a Formuler, does not come with internal wifi, but does come with a 5g wifi dongle. Supposedly, with the dongle, its pretty good, but I have never tested it. The European version of the box has built in wifi, but its limited to 2.4ghz. I have tried that version and it works fine.
However, with all that said, if you don't have the ability to hardwire directly to your modem/router, I would recommend getting powerline adapters and running a hardwire that way. For TV, I strongly recommend hardwire as, in my experience, many buffering issues can be traced back to poor network connections or dropped wifi signals.
I currently have the z7+ and I decided to get the highest gain external antenna. It is called w3 and I never had any buffering issues. This is as good as it gets unless you hardwire.
get a mi box - it's cheaper and works well.
I read somewhere on this subreddit that Z7+ has wifi issues but someone who updated to latest version and has the box needs to confirm. Check out these Youtube videos of the Buzz box, the first video clearly shows wireless is actually faster than lan which is pretty impressive.
The buzz box has a great WiFi. I stream YouTube and Iptv with no issues. However the ui is laggy and the recording does not work.
