Question for users of the Vader app on Android

When playing a catch-up program, how the heck does one pause... or skip back or forward for that matter?

Sounds simple enough, and I'm sure I was able to do it after first installing the apk on Android TV and logging in earlier this week, but now it seems like too much to ask! I was sure I could skip forward at least by hitting the right side of the D-pad on my remote, but nope... neither does the dedicated skip (or fast forward) button do it, and neither does pause.

Am I missing something simple... like it's not meant to work and I'm imagining that it actually did at one point?

Okay... mystery partly solved!

When accessing Catch-Up from its own section in the main menu, with its unnecessarily cumbersome layout, pause as well as skip forward and back work as expected.

What I was doing was trying to take advantage of one of the should-have-been useful aspects of the main EPG: scrolling back in time to select a completed program to watch via catch-up. If you access a program that way, pause and skip don't work!

Accessing VOD from the less confusing VOD section, pause and skips work as well.

So... I wasn't imagining it... ;)

I’m using the rii keyboard with my android box and I just push the forward arrow twice and the tab comes up with pause and play, the bar is there also so you can advance the video. After I’ve done that once I’ve been able to simply click the bottom of the screen with my mouse and the tab will appear

I use an air mouse. When/If I press select, with the pointer on the screen, it brings up the Rewind Play/Pause Fast Forward menu at the bottom of the screen. Not sure how you would do it otherwise.

I have a different question that perhaps you may know the answer to. If I bring up the guide while watching a program, to peruse what else may be on, how do I get back to the program I was watching? The Back and Exit keys either bring me to the categories or exit me to the apk main menu. I know I can find the channel and reselect it but that seems a little odd.
