Basically like Cox, DirecTV etc. I know the internal one with Eternal TV (Immortal) kinda does this, but I don’t like it.

After years of messing around with Kodi and STBEmu, I decided to try out a BuzzTV box. This is by far the most reliable and most ‘cable-like’ experience I’ve had. EPG is usually dead on, I have VOD, catchup and PVR capabilities and it still runs Plex and Kodi for all my local stuff.

This is about compromise. You haven't even told us what box you have, so we can't even tell you what you can do. This is like going to the Dr. and saying it hurts when I do this but only in this position when the sun is in the shadow of Venus.

We can't help you if you don't give us any details of your setup. Tell us the box you are using, the software, etc. If you are stuck using a providers APK. Everything.
