tvheadend and vader no streams

by captiantofuburger

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong here, I am following this guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/7ns3vq/guide_watch_iptv_in_plex/

I have tvheadend setup, and I am adding in my vader network. I have a valid account that I am able to use the m3u in VLC etc and it streams fine. When I add it in tvheadend I just get 0 muxes 0 services, 0 everything.

I am using

http://api.vaders.tv/vget?username=MYUSERNAME&password=MYPASSWORD

and have also tried:

http://vaders.tv/vget?username=MYUSERNAME&password=MYPASSWORD&format=ts&type=m3u8

with no success.

its becuase their new setup is weird, when you input one of those links with user and pass it downloads from this link http://vapi.vaders.tv/epg/vget?username=username&password=password&format=ts

Try using that with your info and give it time to populate.

Search reddit reddit for tvheadend and fabiptv tutorial. You will come across a post i wrote that i think will help you. You’ll likely need to add encoder tags into the m3u

And? What is the issue than? I thought you’re getting 0 muxes. Likely because you’re not defining encoder path (ffmpeg). Read the pdf

Write a simple script that will grab m3u from vader’s server and save it locally. Point tvh to read from local file. Use cron within script and tvh to stagger m3u file pulling from vader’s and local by tvh.

Hi,

I'm struggling with the same problem as you, but can't seem to get my m3u file. Can you tell me how you did it?
