Legal IPTV

by Wograsch

Hello guys I'm living in germany and want to receive UK Television. Streaming in germany is a grey area so i#m looking for a legal provider or at least one without SKY and other clearly illegal stuff . Any ideas ?

You will never find one. Media rights are sold on geographical location.

There are none. Broadcasting to other nations by other means than your local cable- or satellite-TV provider, will never be legal.

I don't think streaming UK tv is illegal in within Europe it may officially against the T&C`s of the particular provider but it's not illegal, for years sky UK has been freely available as far as the Canaries I'm sure sky is fully aware of this but they just turn a blind eye. You can signup to services like Tv player, Zattoo Germany, Nowtv and use them with any smart dns provider and use a virtual CC in many cases if you want the premium channels.

Look into "Nowtv" it's ran by SKy and offers entertainment, movies, sport(live) via the internet. The service can be used in other "eu" countries but an vpn would be needed if you wanted to watch bbc iplayer itv etc.

You can get a nowtv box for about £45 quid, you then buy passes which range from 1 to 6 months. You can pick up the passes very cheap on eBay, i.e £15 for 6 months for the entertainment channels or 3 months sport for £15.

I know for a fact that a few providers are using Nowtv for their backup feed for live sport, which may become there main source once things end in Ireland

Why would it be illegal? And if it is, you can use VPN.

Than you are in the wrong sub. Please head over to /r/cordcutters

The easiest way of receiving most of the FTA channels is to use a Smart DNS provider, such as DNS4Me and then subscribe to Zattoo Switzerland, these have most of the main Freeview channels, such as BBC, ITV etc in 720p and others in SD such as ITV2-4 and Challenge. You can pay for the service using Paypal from Germany.
