Would like a trial as well to see if sports streams are any better than they were a few months ago. No problem with stability just low frames rate it would seem. Was weird watching it I thought.

Gears/Reloaded don't offer free trials.

What they will periodically offer, and which I personally find to be the more superior/telling model which I wish more similarly well established providers out there would have the balls to do (instead of pandering after every potential dollar and maintaining a constant leech factor you tend to care a lot less about after actually being among the pool of people paying for the service), is simply open it up to everybody for free for an extended time period. Usually lasting about 3 days, and sometimes longer (last one was a week long).

Guessing the next one won't be anytime in the coming weeks though, since that week long one was only maybe a month back.
