Universal (RF) remote recommendation?

by ScousePete

Anyone love their universal remote? I have a Nvidia Shield, Apple TV, TV and surround sound and would love to ditch 3 of the 4 remotes. Any recommendations?

You typically can't go wrong with Logitech Harmony remotes.

I’ll second the harmony remote if you can spring a few extra bucks

You can get a refurb Harmony 350 on Amazon for about $20. It can control something like 8 devices. I have a 5-6 year old Harmony 300 that was refurb and still works great.

I control a Roku TV, an Xbox One, and a sound bar with mine. You might need an IR device for the Shield I don't think it has a built in IR at least not the new models.

[Harmony Hub.] ( https://www.bestbuy.com/site/logitech-harmony-smart-control-black/8574049.p?skuId=8574049&cmp=RMX&extStoreId=301&ref=212&loc=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwp7baBRBIEiwAPtjwxJR4hwXiEqwfS6x-76Rzk3YGKj_erLH2bj0Cot7RR0mZ0onsWYT5rRoCb9UQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds )

Not Harmony 350, not harmony 650,they all work on IR. Harmony hub has Bluetooth,IR and RF. It's best for controlling multiple products which use different remote control protocol.
