Raspberry Pi + Smart IPTV?

Hi there,

I have a Sony 4k HDR tv and it doesn't run android, for some reason. Is it possible to use a Pi 3 for Smart IPTV?

I am sure you can install SS-IPTV app on your Sony smartTV refer to SS-IPTV website for more info

You can sideload StbEmu on a fire stick TV, that should be cheaper and easier than a pi (I think). It also works via a VPN without noticeable performance issues.

I've used OSMC on Pi's for years and it works just fine form me.

Tried Libreelec too but didn't like it.
