Yeah it really sucks when your MAC address is locked to a reseller. The only one I know of that doesn't do this is IPTV Express.
Honestly, if your provider was responsive, they can remove it when the MAC is expired. Just open a ticket.
Lets say you got ok2 from a reseller, and he disappeared or you don't want to buy from him anymore. Till your old reseller deletes your mac from his panel, you can't go to another ok2 reseller. However your still free to go with another provider like vader.
Now if you have stb emu or buzz xpl 3000, you can just simply change your mac.
