Chromecast does not really support any IPTV streams without transcoding, so no matter what GSE tells you it's likely that it can't actually cast your stream. If you can open that stream in VLC you will be able to cast it as VLC will do the transcoding for you.
Works fine for me, try ProgTV it has chrome cast support as well.
GSE 100% casts to Chromecast! I've done it at home and at work and works extremely well. Well if you have your Chromecast symbol it means it can defiantly see it so that's a start. I'm not 100% on these things but Chromecast won't do some codecs so maybe that's it? The only other thing I can suggest is using localcast, when my Chromecast won't play something I fall back to this app.
You'll need to Google the setup bit (it's not too hard) but works just as well.
same here...not sure why it does not work when youtube works just fine
