Looking for a UK IPTV Provider with Sky Channel Numbering?

by puggo12

Not sure if its possible at all, but we're currently in the process of cancelling our Sky package and we're thinking of trying out IPTV.

To make it as easy as possible for my parents to use, i'm looking for a provider with channel numbering similar to Sky (UK)?

Does any one know of one that will provide such a thing?

Thanks

Hi there. Many users on Reddit recommended TVLuux because of the stable streams and great support. perhaps you should give it a try at r/ http://tvluux.com

Seems highly unlikely. Most providers have hundreds, even thousands of channels. The chances of them being numbered how you want is slim.

However, with a program like Xtream-Editor, you can edit an m3u list to put the channels in the order you want and delete channels and categories you don't want. Or, make a new category of favourites and order it how you like. That's probably your only chance of getting what you want but it will be quite a bit of work.

If I was to do that, how often are the M3U files modified? Sounds like a plan but as you say, would be a massive pain

that gives me hope to be honest, haha Any recommendation on a provider that gives Sky Sports, BT Sport and Sky Cinema?

Looking at a monthly sub for the time being

One of my major gripes is that some uk sellers don't do this by default - of your able to get yourself a flawless subscription they're the only ones doing this atm I believe

Check out Vader Streams. We have trials to see if we fit your specifications. www.vaders.co

You could run any provider through a TVHeadend server, that way you can set any channel number for each channel you like, and you can pause/rewind/record etc like you would with any other PVR (assuming your provider allows 2+ connections)

I do this to try make it as 'girlfriend friendly' as possible - personally use https://xtream-editor.com/ but I know a self hosted TVHeadend server can do it.

Order your m3u the way you want mate. Or better option, create categories so you only swipe through categories instead of using Sky's numbering which is nonsense most of the time.

i recommend Mag 254 box or beelink android box and https://oceaniptv.net subscription. if you're into sports then you can reach all the sport events live

How about you try https://exoticiptv.com/ we can provide you with UK channels and much more.
