IPTV General Questions

by puckpuckgo

I stumbled into the world of IPTV yesterday and I'm amazed that I didn't know about this earlier. I was paying Fubo about $40 per month. Initially, the service was great, but I'm only interested in live sports. Slowly but surely they've started adding a ton of crap that I don't ever watch and, with it, came the price hikes.

Since I'm fairly new at this, I had a couple of questions:

  1. What is the best TV box that includes an option for configuring a VPN in it? I don't want to and can't configure a VPN at the router, but I want this box to use a VPN all the time. I currently use Private Internet Access; if it works with that, even better.

  2. I'm currently testing Twisted and TNT. TNT offers phenomenal value at $5/mo and I have liked the support I've gotten from Twisted thus far, but it comes in at twice the price. Are there any other $5 options that have ample live sports programming? This is practically the only thing I care about and I don't need on demand content, porn, or anything else for that matter. I'd like to look at providers with live sports, similarly priced, bitcoin payment, no customer data other than an email address.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey please PM me and i can offer you our service for $5 and can give you a trial as well. The best box really depends on where you are and what you will be using it for. If you just want something for IPTV and you are on a budget (In USA) then go with either Fire TV or MiBox3 from Walmart. If you can afford more and you want faster performance for games and such then get an nVidia Shield. I hope this helps. Thanks!

Got a Dreamlink T2 and it works great. However, there is really no manual and it took me loads of time to figure it out. Android and DOL. but once I did, it works really well. Almost like a cable box.
