How much ARE these Mag 322 boxes (or similar) WITHOUT programming installed through a provider?

I love my new mag 322 but i was wondering what they cost without programming on them and without a subscription. I know a server that I can 'rent' access through a portal for 8$ a month, and I'ts great. The only problem is that this site sells their Mag boxes for 249$ US. Surely you can get them a lot cheaper without programming? I'm also wondering if a rasberri pi would be sufficient for IPTV streaming, or are they completely different devices than these new Mag boxes.

Advice on Mag alternatives would be great too. As long as they can handle 4k output. Wifi is not even mandatory. I just want a reliable box that I can load software on myself and add a couple 'portals' through my buddy's server for 8$ a month. Reliable and responsive remote controls are important to me also. I once bought an 'android' box and the remote was so terrible, it ruined my whole tv viewing experience. You had to be VERY close and pointing directly at the box, and it had a lag when surfing the guide that drove me nuts. (I'm guessing this was due to it running an older android OS though, NOT the remote)

I really doubt you're getting 4K iptv and won't for a while. Mag 322 handles stalker portals very well and is very stable. You cannot do anything else with a Mag, it's built just for IPTV.

If you like to go Android to be able to use Kodi, etc, try Buzztv XPL 3000 or Formuler Z7+. If your provider provides m3u only, go with the Android boxes.

You can buy the Mag boxes directly from the manufacturer's website.

Search for Infomir US.

Well, after doing some research, it looks like there is a lot better boxes out there than the mag322. i THOUGHT it had 4k capability, even though my tv only does 1080 because I have a 4k platimum portal package. I'm looking for a box with a reliable remote and the ability for TRUE 4k output.

Although you could use a Rpi for iptv I find then terribly under powered and youbare pretty limited to options on ways to stream. I have a BUZZTV for the most part I'm happy with it. However, shopping around if I were to ever get something else it would be an enigma2 box. Can get them in the USA on AliExpress. I've been eyeing the zgemma h9s. You get the real cable feel can add Kodi and don't have to worry about it suffering from fragmentation issues like Android boxes.
