So I updated the APK to v1.3 for the new recording feature, and now all it does is buffer on all channels.
I have a 300/30 connection, cat6 to my nVIDIA Shield and it didn’t buffer before this update.
Anyone else experiencing this?

What is the difference in the normal APK and the immortal APK?
Didn't even realize it had updated, as I haven't been using it anyway this month and the youtuber i used to follow for updates dropped all mention of them on his channel.
Testing it now after the latest install and not seeing any buffering so far. Although to also note, I'm initially pretty underwhelmed with this new built in DVR feature. If you can't record anything besides what's currently playing....I just don't see much of a real point. Would of rather seen the developmental effort go towards adding more catchup channels rather then their recent trend of subtracting some.
Anyway, maybe try running an actual internet speed test on your box and see what it's getting. Keeping in mind "I pay for X" ultimately doesn't amount to jack in itself when it comes time to troubleshoot.
All services got the recording feature because of the Smarters update. You can change the channel after you start the recording - but I believe you need two connections.
And I “pay” for 300 and get ~325mb all my equipment is legit, I’m not new to the game.
IPVanish is a hunk of shit. It kills my speeds versus Private Internet Access.
when do they restock its unreal how u can never buy
...I'm not a fan of the Smarters app and tested several different iptv apps with Eternal and the best by far for me is IPTV Extreme Free or Pro. Also has recording though i have not tested or used that feature.
