...Use Eternal through the IPTV Extreme app on my Shield and plan on continuing to subscribe but the EPG is so Meh!. While many channels have the correct info, some are wrong and several show NO EPG information at all.
...Also, many channels do not show logos/picons and i've had to manually add picons which consumes a lot of time. Some channels that show logos don't allow me to change the picon to another.
...Anyone managed to fix/improve the EPG where it's near accurate and complete?

...Went through the CAN channels and found 64 with no epg info and in the Sports section, 21 - no info. Also, a few with info but it's wrong and needs to be fixed up. Didn't look through the other sections though. Am going to pay for a month to test out iptv-epg.

...With the iptv-epg trial limited to just (50) channels, i went ahead and paid for a month of service @ $5 US and am very pleased with the result. In the CAN section, iptv-epg only failed to provide info on (2) minor channels. There were also a few channels that needed name correcting and the epg addresses changed to the correct one.
...An issue i'm still working on to correct are localized versions of national networks (CAN) that span time zones. Can this be accomplished with "Time Shifting"? For USA, it's a matter of finding the right local station to point to i believe.

buy an actual mag box instead of using an app. my epg on eternal on my t1 looks great. dont understand your complaint. Oh wait, your not using a dedicated box, your using a workaround......
If you are using an m3u or XC API login, you can use Xtream-Editor for EPG. Its a paid service but about $20/year. There’s probably free ways to do it but likely much more complicated.
