MAG256 - Hide unused STB channel groups

Hi guys, newly user of Helix due to the recent Fab changes.

When I was with Fab I am almost certain that the channel groups shown on my STB/Mag portal were only of those I was subscribed too i.e I couldn't see US/International content - I only had the 'Sports' package they offered. Now that I am with Helix on the Mag portal/STB list I can see 25+ groups - US/Polish/Pakistan etc channel groups that are empty and that I don't subscribe too.

I have emailed Helix support but they are telling me that's just how it is. Any suggestions/comments from anyone?

To hide groups . It all depends on the provider. Fab. Some providers pet you hide specific groups others hide a range of groups.

So ask your current provider if they can hide it for you

You can subscribe to Helix’s USA/CA only package. Gets rid of all the additional channel groups...

Subscribe to xtream-editor and you can then edit them out,also since i have been using them everything seems faster and slicker.
