New to iptv

guys please help me decide

I'm new to iptv. all along i've used a wetek openelec running kodi for streaming content, not live tv.

My Q is, should I buy a box like mag 322 or will a decent android box like mx10 be suitable for iPtv using perfect player be ok, or do i need to use an emulator?

will i miss out on extra capabilities of an android box (kodi,showbox etc, and gaming), or should I get the mag box for dedicated iptv.

or can i put enigma on the wetek and us it like a mag box?

depends on how committed to IPTV you want to be, starting with (at least 2 gb ram) android box is cheaper and it will do pretty much everything a Formuler or MAG will do. Those boxes (and Nvidia shield) are "better" but they are more expensive.

Formuler z7+, you can use for kodi showbox etc as well as record to usb,

The Mx10 would be fine. You could possibly be missing out on features like VOD pending on who you go with and what version of xstreams they are running. But as you will be running other apps for that, it's a moot point.

a MAG is a box for IPTV an android box is a mini computer with software in it ...

if you want to pay for a service and watch tv then a MAG

if you want free tv and dont have a life buy a android box ... the people here are mostly young techs ,no members of the public

I'm in a similar boat and debating between the mag 322, formuler z7+ and a T95z (3gb) - Mag is only good for iptv, formuler has it's own iptv player but the T95z has better specs but would run using stb/pp .... maybe a mag (IPTV) and a cheap android box/firestick (VOD) could work best for me

Do the z7+ I have one and a t95z plus 3 gb ram with 32 gb internal. The z7 software just doesn't feel as clunky as an emulator. Also does offer m3u xcodes and mag portal in the same format.

Got everything working on the week. Updated to the latest librelec. Simple client PVR and a cheap sub. Saved myself buying a new box.
