Hi my service provider has a server side setting to switch back to main menu on our 254 if channel is not changed, we are using the boxes with modulators in a remote room so im trying to find a way to override this.

thinking of using a small processor that would generate a button press every say 3.5 hours , would this be enough to stop it reverting or do you actually need to change the channel?
