SMART IPTV App

by steviecav

Forgive my ignorance as this is all still a bit new to me. I have now subscribed to a couple of services and I am using a web browser on my laptop and also the SMART IPTV app on my Samsung TV. My thoughts are that the SMART IPTV app is better when it is working properly but it can be really temperamental and am always having to re-install etc. My question is should I get a box (no idea what I am talking about!) that I plug in to my TV. Will this me more reliable and quicker to load the channels? I am just wanting to watch football to be honest. Can anyone recommend a box? Is a Fire Stick a good one? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi mate,

I guess it's all down to what you want to spend. In my opinion and experience I recommend Firesticks, cheap and very popular and there open to a whole lot of apps to view the IPTV on. Its where I always start off with my customers. You get a remote and the apps are almost like TV boxes these days.

There are some real good TV boxes out there too that will give you other features but they can be a bit more expensive.

If I was you ... Firestick and a sub 😊 cheap, easy to setup, good WiFi on them them and really good quality.

Happy to help if you want anymore details mate!

What is the issue that causes you to reinstall the Smart IPTV app?
I've been using it with two playlists with around 500 channels and have not had major problems.

I bought a Mi Box Android TV. The Perfect Player Android app is a lot better than the Samsung Smart IPTV app imo. I can also use it for non-IPTV apps like Youtube, Netflix, Terrarium TV, Plex, Twitch ect. and I find it a lot better than using the "smart tv" interface.

Just to be off topic - I just received a new update (Nordics) for my LG B7 Oled TV for Smart IPTV. But ofcourse unable to find any change-log. It works fine. Anyone? Hit in the air here...
