Problem going with a big provider is they will eventually just fall apart. It's the small, well hidden ones you want to find and go with.

Lasted 3 minutes of the man united game, now it's wiped out.

I've been using them for 3 weeks; so far so good. That being said, I don't use it a lot; not until american football season starts at least.

Just subbed to this last night, very good variety of channels, haven’t buffered in one channel as of yet. Only gripe is there doesn’t seem to be many movies on the VOD section. But so far so good.

Funny how the dick whose been spruiking them all week long since Fab just happens to of not appeared on this thread when people are noticing issues.

My exp has been mostly positive great selection of local channels massive amount of sports channels and the price is more than reasonable.

They seem like a new service most channels work 95% of the time or more some major events buffer watched part of the UFC fight last weekend with no issues the new US/UK VIP section has some great streams

Support is great usually get a response to questions/issues within an hour

Does Helix support HLS output type?

I can't seem to clear any channels on helix hosting at the moment - anybody else having the same issue?

As an alumni of Fab and Flawless I wanna see what they’re going to do to stay stable and avoid the same downfall

I've been using them to watch the Manchester United pre-season and experienced quite a lot of buffering on the MUTV channel during every match.

The few other channels i've watched seemed fine but I guess the real test will be this weekend with the PL kicking off.

Tried them over the weekend and I liked it enough to try a quarterly sub. I'll be using it more over the next month or so to see if it's worth dropping SatTv.

We don't watch a lot of TV so if it works for when we do.. I'm happy.

Took out a subscription last weekend after a good experience on the free trial but tonight for the first EPL game of the season it was "down for maintenence" and had to carry on watching on a free stream elsewhere... This is was a big let down for a paid service. If i keep getting this experience for main events and games my subscription won't last long! Be a shame because I like this service.

It's shit now. Barely works and has been down for a long while now.

Signed up yesterday, friday night game - dead!

Today's 3pm and Sunday will be the acid test if this service is the real deal!

I'm new to paid IPTV so not sure what is the standard. Guess it's ok for the price.

Regularly some main channels not working, getting kicked off from some channels every minute, buffering, channels say HD but are crappy quality, wrong country/language.

Not going to make a fuss because of the price, but if the channels you want to watch are down most of the time I don't see the point.

Paid for a month, let's see.

Helix seem to be hanging off the shirt tails of Fab closing their service, at least 'Bob' seems to magically appear on every discussion regarding their closing. Unfortunately they have a LONG way to go to fill their shoes and the hole that they have left / are leaving behind. Initial findings on Helix, some channels don't work (UK Gold is currently offline for example), some channels are missing (W being an example) and Catch up TV from last night doesn't seem to work!. the VOD (if you are in to that) is only about 5% as comprehensive as FAB, seemingly concentrating on selections such as "Top Comedy", "Top Horror Movies" etc and then giving 25 actual titles for each listing - rather than pages and pages of titles old and new. I'm not interested in Football or Sport, so can't comment on stability there but already within a short period of signing up, i'm already finding run of the mill Sky channels that I usually watch, unavailable and reaching the conclusion that a direct equivalent for FAB, it isn't, and so if that is what you are looking for, my advice is to keep looking and maybe in a few months Helix will have upped their game.

I am in my third month of Helix. I used a trial 2 different times. Let me start by saying I do not watch a ton of live tv. I only started messing with it as a hobby. Since I have canceled my cable provider. Over the time of having an active sub I have had very few issues. I have noticed some buffering but was not an issue because i was only looking for background noise. I have set it up with NEXTPVR and have been able to record some shows without hickup. Just my .02.

Service was fine for couple of months. Now it's not working at all, raised a support ticket and got the usual response. What system, ip, vpn etc... are you using?
