TV Streams Now - NoraGO

by stompadillo

Just recently heard about this provider from a friend. Anybody familiar with it?

I’m trying the free 3 day trial, and it’s amazing so far! All content (TV/ movies) available all the time and actually working. Regular price is $25/month. Considering dropping my DTV.

Here's what I can say about the service: It's VERY stable. I'm not sure if NoraGo modulates the stream quality so that it never buffers, but I've really had almost zero buffering, even at peak hours. Sometimes the software itself freezes, but rarely. Compared to other services that use Perfect Player and the like, it's on another planet when it comes to sheer stability. That said, here's a rundown that you should be aware of:

  1. The NoraGo app locks the service to each device you use. You cannot wipe the login data or unlock the service (e.g. to try a different service) without asking your previous (or perhaps future) service to unlock it. Save yourself a big headache and just find a NoraGo service (such as TV Streams Now) and stick with it. From what I can tell, they are all the same.

  1. You get to stream on four separate devices for $25 USD. They all have to be using the same ISP. Multiple device streaming is smooth.

  1. The EPG is adequate, but can be annoying if you have poor eyesight, as the text is a bit small.

  1. You cannot save favorites (that I know of), but your recently or most used channels will show up on the main screen.

  1. You do get a large selection of shows and movies, which are categorized well. I haven't used this yet, so no review on this.

  1. If you leave the stream unattended, it will temporarily halt the stream until you click okay. Not a big deal, and is in fact probably promotes server stability.

  1. The channel selection is limited compared to mainstream services. You get all the big ones, and certainly the some, but if you're looking for local news you're probably out of luck.

  1. You'll have to use your credit card to pay.

In Summary: It's a good service. I would recommend it to people looking to cut the cord and are fed up with IPTV buffering during peak ours. Just keep in mind that it's a bit different than other mainstream services, and you're trading a vast selection of channels for incredible stability.
