Nonsense I'm afraid.

They're oversold by greedy providers, plain and simple. Do u honestly think these providers wouldn't counter account sharing by now?

They nearly all use xtream codes panels, where it's very simple to limit the number of concurrent streams any user is allowed.

This is easily proven by getting a trial, open one vlc instance and play a channel, open a second instance and from the same trial open a different channel....what happens?

How? the vast majority of providers only allow 1 stream. even if something was hacked, it still can only account for 1 stream.....unless they are hacked in a way that is creating new accounts for themselves?

Dont think thats the problem, most of those accounts would now be inactive (you'd hope)...

Funny enough, Sunday I was looking at a known free provider of iptv that supplies m3u's.. I was looking at what they had and noticed some channels had a paid IPTV in there. I logged in with the creds in the m3u and much to my surprise in actually worked.

125 connections active while max connection we're set to 2, all channels still worked. See below.. https://s15.postimg.cc/6q4pqzwkb/Screenshot_20180814-083054_IPTV_Smarters.jpg

OP is correct. The software used by everyone really is lax on security. Sure real customer can over load the system.... but fake users and people try to brute force systems is a real concern.
