for iptv just get a formuler z7+ it is a million times better (for iptv)
Its definitely a good deal. I wouldn't buy one as I rarely use android for anything and my MiBox does all I need it to. IPTV can be done so much better by more dedicated devices in my opinion. While I can't refute the picture quality argument (having never watched TV through a Shield), having a dedicated device with a proper remote and GUI that looks and feels like an actual cable or satellite box is a far superior experience to anything the Shield can do through some apk.
I have used a Dreamlink, a Formuler and now an Enigma2 device and all are preferable to any android experience I have tried. And my E2 receivers offer incredible picture quality in my opinion.
