I use it as a back up, it's ok but pretty basic
I used it when I was trying out various IPTV services such as Vader. Not impressed, clunky, lacks features. But it works. You need an IPTV service first which would provide you a M3U url to enter into the app which would then work as the STB receiver for the service.
I use Smart IPTV for quite some time on my LG. Interface is very basic but works very good. I'm testing STBemu right now, which has a much nicer interface and has better EPG support.
My smart IPTV by default my first option to watch IPTV since you can put multiple playlist, folder, logos, built in EPG and optionally can play with external player such vlc or mx player
The UI is simple, just straight forward.
If you like the way a mag box works then you could try the smart-stb app.
I use both and prefer smart-stb as it is easier to navigate.
Any better recommendations for a Samsung TV?
