I'm still using FAB. They were down over the weekend but service is now running again along with VOD.
So, my take on things is that you should subscribe to 2 or 3 less expensive providers (e. g. TNT, Helix, Eternal, Twisted, CCIPTV) instead of one expensive one (Vader, Gears, etc.)

Helix is pretty stable, loaded with many channel and vod, also come with solid Android app for TV.
