Can someone give me a quick primer on the current state of IPTV services? ("Noob")

by jbwalton7

I had FAB IPTV on my fire stick, mainly for sports, and it's going down as as I'm aware?

I don't keep up to date with whichever services are going down and am looking for the current most reliable sevice to watch the football.

Thanks in advance

I got burned for a month with FAB which isn't a big deal. So don't take out any long term subs. Ace and I think Flawless just went down. It seems if the provider gets too big, they will be attracting a lot of attention from the authorities. I've tried a couple of the cheaper alternatives and they weren't up to snuff. Too much buffering and down channels. Luckily I got in on the SmoothStreams sign up because all I really care about is sports and they have been a godsend. Being selfish, I hope they don't take any more customers so as not to overload their servers. I have Vaders as a backup for sports and they have been ok recently. It depends what you're looking for. Reliability is my number one criteria. I don't really care for a thousand channels and 60fps streams. As long as the buffering is kept to a minimum, I'm happy.

Helix has been very good for me, intent on trying RAD IPTV very soon which is similar to FAB apparently

Its always gonna be a crapshoot, which is why we stay away from long term subs! For sports only, I would try Smoothstreams. If you want a full package of entertainment channels as well, give the usual suspects a try...Vader, TNT, Helix, Clearstreamz, Epicstreams, Nitro, etc. The r/iptvresellers subreddit can help you out.

Ace went down. Superior just went down a few days ago.

None of the trial requests (even paid) are being processed. I believe these streamers are getting bent over one by one 😂

So, my take on things is that you should subscribe to 2 or 3 less expensive providers (e. g. TNT, Helix, Eternal, Twisted, CCIPTV) instead of one expensive one (Vader, Gears, etc.)

I do not like helix - it has the same problems that large services have - poor-quality channels, wrong names, etc. With England and the United States at the helix are all excellent. But ifollow declared in the channel list does not work!

Evening mate,

Are you UK or US or? I'm a reseller of a UK service wem pretty stable and no VPN required either :)

Greed will kill em all, its just a Ponzi scheme, always some winners, always some losers, but price is ok, losing a few bucks is no biggie compared to savings.
