I need a new box, i'm going to have it hardlined but amazon keeps recommending me android 7.1 boxes that only have 2.4 gz for wireless as an option. My latest mag box had 2.4 or 5. This doesn't matter that much for ME because I am going to be hardlined anyway but are these boxes that only support 2.4 'old tech' what's the go to box these days for streamless iptv? The mag 322's still? I've been out of the loop.
If youre going to hardwire it anyway, then the wireless card doesn't matter. It's just how the manufacturer cuts corners to get the costs down. You need to be looking at the CPU and RAM.
If I were to recommend a box, it would definitely be the Formuler Z7+ or Dreamlink T2(they're sister companies with different territories). Theyre great boxes that pack a pick punch at whatever you throw at them. Not to even mention that they come from reputable companies.
If youre on a budget, then you should check out the buzz box. A good machine for a little less..
I am in the same boat, I want a good box but Amazon keeps suggesting boxes that are frankly out of date. Then when I look for Formuler z7 they are always unavailable or only available through third-party sellers. Which means a wait of up to 6 weeks while the shipment travels on a slow boat from China.
Dreamlink T2 isn't available either (I'm talking Amazon UK btw).
I looked at the Mx 10, I saw one that has the newest android version 4 gb ram and 32gb storage. The only downside is its only 2.4 wifi. It has a LAN port but I am a lodger so cant hardwire the box. Still thinking about getting it though.£65. Seriously tempted lol.

Big fan of Formuler z7+... the dreamlink guide app is really fast and since the most recent update... stable.
