Pleased I only paid for a month, it’s gone down multiple times this week, FHD channels aren’t always in 1920x1080 and I’ve had some buffering at times (definitely wasn’t down to my internet connection either as I have everything logged).

Yeah down for me. Been pretty patchy this week.

First problem I have had this week. Been solid for a while to be fair to them

I've used Helix for almost three months. I signed up back in June and didn't have any problems watching the World Cup and mostly French channels. It was pretty solid back then. It started going downhill from there. Most channels won't work and there's constant buffering on the ones that worked. My invoice is due for payment but I'm having second thoughts about paying it.

Helix has been a really good service for me. This is IPTV... there's going to be glitches. That's why I subscribe to several inexpensive providers. Using this strategy, I haven't been blanked in over a year!

Seems to have gone to crap again 12:30am PST. I put in a ticket but I’m getting concerned as things seem to be slipping. I was with ACE then FAB and now Helix. I was really impressed with Helix at first. My first two weeks were pretty solid but now as of recently it’s not dependable. I’m lucky I run extra subs as I tend to have to resort switching subs to continue watching something. Hope they can get this figured out or I don’t think I’ll renew this one.

Is helix the closest thing to Fab ?

Not like some channels are down the portal is offline altogether. The app force closes on the shield too.

If it's any help: what I've noticed is you need to refresh the M3U list more frequently than I've had to with other providers. I'm assuming the individual URLs are changing regularly (but never bothered to diff them to be sure).

I don't know what your setup is like, but I'm using TVHeadend which downloads and caches the M3U. Initially I had issues where the streams would work then die after a few days. Making sure the M3U is refreshed daily seems to help significantly.

Other than that I can say their support has been top notch. I have a bit of an unusual config that some providers don't even want to talk to me about... Helix was willing to listen to my requests & accommodate where they could.

That's been my experience over the last 3-4 months in any case...

To be fair to helix, its been pretty spot on for me so far....watched the Nrl Fri with no problems and the Super League yesterday and was as good as gold. Sitting here watching the Dolphins game at the moment with no problems on the sd stream....hd was buffering a lot though,so switched over. Only thing that is annoying me though, is the Kodi add on isnt working on my android box...anybody else having this problem? Fine on my windows pc though.

Past few days have been hit and miss. Keep getting kicked out of channels after 30 or so seconds. Close kodi and re open. Fine for a while then constantly being kicked out again.

Helix fucking sucks now man, I need a new provider.
