I'm scouring the internet for facts on what type of set top box will yield the best results for me and why. I'm not really getting solid answers, just a bunch of recommendations without much thought behind them. Also, has anyone tried the smart iptv app on a samsung smart tv and if so, does it work well or just ok.
I wondered the same, but love using Kodi Libreelec with Simple IPTV client. Plus some of the providers have their own Kodi Addon for catch-up! 👌🏼
Mainly remote and external hdd capabilities. Remote has buttons for everything.
Android IPTV box is a made for TV box, running some software for IPTV Platforms, like Stalker or normal AndroidTV.
Just an Android box, is a chinese shit box, running Android Phone OS not made for TV, to be avoided at all costs, even if free.
go to youtube and you can watch video reviews of these set top boxes and decide for yourself. its mostly for a cable like experience with a dedicated remote.
