Helix has a web player, but their streams aren't as stable as I'd like. They drop from HD to SD quality often.
For Any service that uses m3u and xml for guide you can use ProgTV on the computer. You can use web player on some services.
VLC works with m3us but no epg, windows 10 has a good IPTV app I heard, might be a commercial app.
Kodi with some addons will get you going with m3u / xml and even with stalker portal

If you're using Windows 10, then you should give MyIPTV Player a shot. It's a great app that runs really well.
What program are you using would be my first question because some services are really only MAC based and do not run on m3u's
Just use VLC and make your way through some trials.
Stick with the well known providers and only get one month at a time.
Area 51 has a really good web player too.
