Legality of IPTV / Safest way of watching IPTV

by friscofresh

Alright, so I stepped my foot into a 2-day trial pass for vaderstreams - and I'm beginning to ask myself why I only just heard of IPTV, it's completely crushing all TV providers & services that are offered in my country of residence (Switzerland).

Now to my question - how do I stream these contents in the safest way possible? Is a VPN setup enough or would you recommend other/additional means of prevention to watch IPTV?

Also, does a good VPN connection noticeably effect the viewing experience in any way?

Used IPTV for a while now and taken around the world when travelling. I use IPVanish VPN and doesn't disrupt the connection speed. So many choices out there... Just try one and see what's best for you

There's nothing illegal with watching a stream. NOTHING. There is no law being broken at all, at least in US Law.

Now if you use a program that streams via P2P, like AceStream, then that's illegal because your streaming but also re-distributing copyright content. That's how P2P works. But most IPTV are just server to peer, not peer-top-peer.

Yeah don't sweat it. The consumer is not the one to go after. VPN's suck because you lose a ton of bandwidth due to overhead. Been there done that. Crypto if available might be a good way to pay but honestly it's overkill.

don't worry. think about this the authorities would rather go after the big fish rather someone who uses it from time to time for sports.

They're not interested in busting you... they want the providers / resellers.

As long as you're not running the IPTV server itself and buying, hosting or delivering content, then you are simply a consumer. No country has prosecuted any end consumer. The UK has prosecuted resellers of "fully loaded" Android boxes but no country has prosecuted any IPTV resellers either. So VPNs really aren't necessary if you're using it just to mask that you have an IPTV account.

VPN allows you to prevent your ISP from blocking the track from the IPTV servers. The best way to mantain anonymity is to create an email address that is only used for the service and only log into it when on VPN. Basicilly never tie back anything associated with the IPTV back to you. Also, if you want to try the best IPTV service on the market visit guerrillaiptv.com and request a trial. Have a great day!
