Plex removing Plug-ins

With Plex announcing that they are removing plug-ins soon will this affect me streaming smoothstreans through Plex?

You've always had to manually install smoothstreams' plugin. The link you posted says you can still do that.

But don’t panic—while the Plugin Directory will soon be gone, you can still manually install plugins for the foreseeable future.

This just means PLEX will not be hosting any plugins anymore.
