Bake off is on C4 now so iplayer won't be good for that, but there is All4 online for that
Some providers do weekly catch up on UK terrestrial TV. So would be available on many android apps. Not 100% sure but doesn't Formula 7+ give you this ability?
I believe your best option is to sign up on a smart DNS service so that you can use iPlayer. AFAIK, SmartDNSProxy is reliable but there are other similar services too.

Hey, have you tried either tvplayer (for live TV) or All4 (for catch up) with VPN ??
Both of these worked for me, while I was living in France last winter, on a Fire stick.

I'm in Australia and been using smart dns for years. Its the cheapest stable solution, easy to setup and will work across all your devices if you set up DNS in your router- you can just use ITV Hub/iplayer and all 4 on your laptop/ipad etc. I set up my Samsung TV smart hub as UK and it works perfectly. Expect to pay around $3-5 per month depending on the service.
