Do providers do something to make playback better during big events?

by ls_2012

I've experienced this a few times now. Whenever a big event is close the channel starts buffering and having a lot of issues (which I expected because a lot of traffic probably comes through), however as soon as the event itself starts it plays perfectly. Is there something the provider does that makes this happen or have I just been getting lucky?

They stream the ppv events from a different server giving it higher processes and ram and cpu.

Unless it’s Vader’s of course who just go to pot when the big event starts.

You can try the Airtv iptv service, which has 101 channels with the playback function, and I often miss the live broadcast of wonderful sports games, just watch through the replay.
