Legal 4K Premier League providers

by elgenes

Are there any providers that show Premier League in 4K online with English commentators?

UK seems out of the question since the quality of the streams online by Sky = horrible. I know that DirectTV Now Beta is 8.5 mbit, but is 4K available somewhere? The US, AU, NZ? I don't care about how much it costs, I want the best quality available. In my country the best quality available is 720p 50 FPS for Premier League. That is not sufficient for me. My eyes hurt when looking at it, especially since I watch many Champions League games in 2160p 25mbit on my STB.

What monitor/tv are you watching on? You may want to get that checked out and be glad you weren't born earlier.

Get someone with a legit source from BEIN Sports - They seem to be buying a lot of asia/aus/nz prem league rights.

You are right about the UK - with the 3pm blackout, you wont be able to even watch half the games.

BTSport games have decent quality though...

4k with english commentators? Are you from 2040? I think even then there was no such simply option...

BTW, I see 4k replays from polish Canal+ Sport. And I pretty sure only top-matches will go with 4k, rest - only in FHD max.

You need a satellite dish for this.

There really isn't enough bandwidth on the public internet for widely available 4k streams yet. Even when BBC did their test run for the world cup they could only handle something like 10,000 connections

I figured something out. 4K streaming is here. Today. In 2018. PL in 4K today. Tomorrow College Football on Fubo in 4K. Love it!

Premier League now in 4K on FuboTV. 4K rollout is happening somewhat faster than some people on Reddit thinks. This is awesome! 12mbit stream. 2160p. 60 FPS.

Thanks for this thread! Btw Canal+ Poland offers La Liga and Premier League in 4k over the Hotbird Satelite.

Legal? Pretty sure you're in the wrong area to ask for that.

Please stop asking for 4k. Legal stuff is barely in infancy, pirate stuff is just in beta for most providers and will be bitstarved to shit.

Do a search next time and you'd see just how many god damn times people are told this.

Please come back in 10 years.

This is cool. fuboTV to broadcast FS1 in 4K. College football + "entertainment material" will be shown in UHD.

To view the games in fuboTV’s 4K HDR10 Beta format, subscribers will need to have a 4K HDR-enabled television, HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2 compatible cable and run the fuboTV app on a streaming device that supports the format, which includes Android Mobile Phones with HDR10 displays and Apple TV, Chromecast, Fire TV and Roku devices. Bandwidth speeds of 30Mbps-40Mbps or higher are recommended. 4K HDR-capable TVs may also need calibration to present the content correctly. For subscribers without 4K HDR hardware, this content will continue to be available in its usual formats.

fuboTV says it will also offer additional sports and, for the first time, entertainment programming in 4K HDR Beta in the coming months.
