I own a Mag 254 and 2 Mag 256s. I use IPTV Express on it and basically every 2 day or even less of usage, black vertical lines come across the screen. The only way to resolve is to reboot, and its not like I can click on Menu > Settings > coz that screen is black. I have a wifi power outlet where I power on/off via phone app, so much so that I have automated this to reboot mag every 3 hrs. I have it connected via a Goronya HDMI Switch but direct to TV or Switch doesnt matter
Tried New Regular HDMI Cable - No Difference
- Got new TV ( Sony Bravia X900F ) - No Difference
- Purchased Monoprice Certified Premium High Speed HDMI Cable, 4K @ 60Hz, HDR, 18Gbps, 28AWG, YUV 4:4:4, 3ft, Black - and with below
- Purchased a HDMI 4K High End HDMI Switch True 4K 4-Port Switcher with HDMI Connection - in this one, it actually got Blue Screen. I am still testing with other BuzzTV, Roku on this too
- Now trying with above HDMI direct to TV
However, just wondering if this is a regular Mag 256 issue? or the service or cable and/or should I got Mag 322
I contacted infomir a few months ago about this and there reply was they have never supported DTS and the vertical lines was down to my hdmi even though the same movies played on the previous firmware. Just think they are trying to cut costs having-said that I still love mags for the simplicity they just play iptv well the best in my opinion! Android you constantly have to tweak settings perfectplayer / kodi etc mags just do what they say on the tin
