IPTV Smarters Pro - audio out of sync, HD stutters, unwatchable (Firestick)

by A8ken

Hi, So I'm new to all this but have problems streaming most content using a pro subscription via my firestick. Any advice on how to improve things? Internet speed around 40mps and have no issues with other steaming services. Is a VPN worth a look? Thanks

Edit : playing about with the settings within the app has helped. Thanks to the poster below for the tip! No more juddering and audio syncing.

Change the decoder to hardware, solved any problems I had with it

IPTV smarters pro is just an app. The issues you are describing could be from your service provider. Many services use that app and it sounds your issue is with a particular one.

In options on Smarters in Streaming Formats you can select HLS which may help. Also when watching an actual channel towards the bottom of the screen you can turn on HA I think it says (hardware acceleration) this should help you out too :)

But as some of the other guys have said its worth checking for interference. Unplug anything that doesn't need to be on and fire it up see how she handles. I've seen interference issues a lot lately

IPTV Smarters works flawlessly on my Shield.

Make sure you're NOT using the WIFI connection. Buy this ethernet adaptor and connect via LAN - https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Ethernet-Adapter-All-New-Chromecast/dp/B01N1X28F1/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1538543639&sr=8-1&keywords=B01N1X28F1

Make VLC your player for Live TV and enable Decoder Acceleration in VLC
