IPTV EPG

by DLiver420

I have a subscription I am very happy with, but I would like some info. I am sent a EPG link with my subscription, but I use VLC to watch IPTV and EPG support has not been added to VLC (yet, hopefully.) The link just opens to a text file with channels etc. and I assume this is for Perfect Player, but I can't find a PC version of PP (if one exists.) My question: Is there a website or program I can run that will take the link and use it to open an EPG that I can use? I don't wish to use my Android phone for this, I just wish to use my PC and I have no interest in using Kodi (not that I'm intimidated by it, but every time I've tried it in the past it was more work than it was worth and I finally gave up.)

Kodi can do it,plex can do it. I literally typed in perfect player on Google Chrome and the right one popped up first. But again my personal choice is kodi

pp does not work well on windows. forget it. try progdvb/progtv, ip-tv player 49.0, tv mosaic, or myiptv player.

BitIPTV

You can use one of the many available IPTV apps that use m3u and epg on the windows app store (assuming you upgraded to w10) myiptv player is one of them.

Google Progtv for windows, you’ll thank me later

Prog tv is brilliant on windows and android, I am surprised it's not more popular than it is.

Your iptv provider Bay have ways to watch TV through the browser. Including viewing the epg. I've never done it, but I've seen references to 'web interface' on some providers. Maybe look into that, you wouldn't need a special app or program
