As the subject States I use gears currently the epg is awesome I just hate that it pulled me out of channels at times especially if two people are using the app in the hosue ... Price is decent for the quality so price isn't an issue aslong as I get the same quality any recommendations?

Had gears switched to paradise streams and use players as a backup but never really need it just have it becauSe they both cost me the same as one gears sub
Over priced had it for 7 months good because of the guide.Just dumped it because i was sick of hearing the UK channels where not part of the service and they don't support it they consider it a bonus lol.when i was paying around 34-36 dollars with the guide for 2 TVs .Moved on to area 51 and i love it. Vary little buffering and a good 24/7 channels line up and good sports and all for $5.00 dollars for 2 TVs and $3.33 for a third for a total of $8.88.Gears was good but not that good.

Geartv is expensive comparing to other IPTV and doesn't have EPG (built in)..if you want to add EPG, you have to use Mayfair guide (separate service) who integrated geartv in their guide which also cost money..GearTv doesn't provide with M3U file if you want to use it with other players...however, the geartv service quality is decent but it is expensive no EPG built in and no M3U file is provided....

Last time I tried gears the "1080p" was very low bitrate (most apparent on face in out shots). Anyone know of a reliable source over 6 or 7 mbps (aka the holy grail). I think beams goes up to 7mbps? Vaders 5 ish but buffering at the moment

That depends on how important that awesome epg experience is in making any "better" evaluation there. Because to get a better factor in the other areas and with another provider...you generally will be making a big downgrade sacrifice in that one.
