Obviously trials are the way to go but then you need to remember IPTV providers don't make their money by selling one off 24 hour trials and the other thing is why not just buy a monthly for the month in which this event is taking place.
Yeah a lot of services will let you pay a small subscription on a ppv weekend etc. We do. Some services will only do monthly etc but as the litmus test a ppv is usually a good test of a service :D so always a good test period to !

You mean, just paying for a day, like, a PPV event? Sort of. Some services offer paid trials, which are usually a day or two for $3-4. Most services won't allow free trials on weekends or during big events, but any that offers a paid trial will usually let you do it during those events.
Of course, the value is in buying the month, but if you never watch TV other than the odd PPV, then the paid trials are an option.
