What's the point of resellers?

by fbvwfmkjo

So where I am from there's legislation to avoid a monopoly for isp' such that they must wholesale their Internet to other small isp companies... Reselling makes sense in that case.

Why would anyone resell iptv services. Is it not the same price? As a consumer why would I go with a copy of an iptv provider when I can just get the iptv provider itself?

Its pays my mortgage, thats why I resell it. As far as providers, they don't want to deal with customers and small payments. Most important - they like to stay anonymous.

You have to consider a lot of IPTV services are restricting the amount of subscription they offer and reseller's are the only way to get that service to address the price issue there are quite a few reseller's that actually sell for less not all but some.

most of the time a reseller will be able to provide you indvidualized support versus a provider. Providers become heavily occupied with content and unfortunately cant attend to all needs. additionally, resellers can afford to drop prices below retail for most providers, and cut breaks to clients. As a reseller that is at least my principle why come to me, more bang for buck. individual support plus cheaper costs.

To me, the whole IPTV game is a game of chance. It’s great that we have things like reddit where people can express their experiences so that others can make an informed choice. I am currently going through an issue with a reseller and I am hoping that he will come good and help, but I’m not going to hold my breath.

The main provider doesn't want to have to reply to 1000 support emails all asking the same question when the service goes down. If they have resellers, it's up to the resellers to do that. (Many don't btw, but they should be) - Resellers are essentially acting as a shield.

it's all about making profits !

a service can advertise to a certain extent but if they resell onto other people who then sell it to everyone to make money.

also it gives the main provider more time to control the content better and focus on keeping sources active and let someone else bring the the sales.
