New to IPTV...wtf

by kwali87

I’m found out about IPTV about 2 weeks ago and I was told by my coworker that gearstv or area51 were the best ones. I’ve ordered a miboxS and my coworker said he’ll “set it up for me” he just wants to know what service I want. I’ve read a ton of posts and comments on IPTV and they just confused me more.

All I’m looking for is soccer and live tv.

Any recommendations?

for me tvluux.com is the best iptv service provider. performance of the channels is excellent. highly recommended!

There is no perfect service, quality, stability, channel selection, etc all differ from one provider to another. Try 1 service a month for the next few months, then pick the one you like. Don't pay for more than 1 month at a time, providers come and go.

I've tried at least 10 and haven't found the "perfect" one yet.

Gears has been the most stable for me personally and I've tried a good few.

Gears has one thing and one thing only - The Mayfair guide. Other than that, it's over priced with a very LIMITED channel list! They had a free trial weekend not long ago and i was shocked how few channels they offer.

I have Vaders and Helix, and they both work fine. Vaders is my main, and Helix is a back up. Be wary of all these people peddling Gears, it's one of the worst providers in the iptv scene. Plus, you will be dumb to pay to use a TV guide!

I would recommend the https://oceaniptv.net
Ordering the service was quick and easy, everything that was supposed to happen did happen and the server works really well. All the channels I really watch are now readily available to me. Every household should subscribe. easy how to instructions to access iptv channels on all media types, all sports working like a dream HD quality and no buffering like most links. All other channels work great including movies.
Well worth the money and no problems accessing the channels. I’m very happy with the service. Highly recommended.

Read the reviews in r/iptvreviews and pick 2-3 cheap services (~$5/mo each), that way you'll have a backup, because these services do hiccup.

Just go with Gears and the Mayfair guide. Get it direct through Omar, don’t pay some reseller extra for the same service (omarvideos.com). For $15 a month, you save on the headache of 2-3 $5/month services, for the same price and get a guide that’s on par with real cable. Only thing that sucks is if you need multiple, concurrent streams. I pay for one stream with 4 TVs in the house, and haven’t had an issue yet with someone not being able to watch live TV when they want. We use things like Titanium/Cinema for on-demand viewing.

What you will find as you see is everyone has a set opinion and experience with a service. I personally have 3 solid ones at my disposal. That is after i trialed and got burned by a couple of them on this subreddit. But i found the right ones for my needs and i treat it as a hobby.

Fuck Gears, overpriced shit quality. Eternal or Area 51. Both cheap however eternal isn't taking new customers ATM.

I suggest 1 expensive service and 1 cheap one for backup. GearsTv($20) and Premium($9). But I do have a gigabit internet connection and my provider isn't forcing me to play the VPN game by throttling/blocking. ~$30 per month is WAY cheaper than cable.... is how I justify it.

Hi! Do Gears channels stream in HD?

Mostly interested in the F1 channel.

Also, anyone know an IPTV service that streams Greek channels persistently.

Nova Sports in particular.

Thx
