over the past few years i have used nfps but have also tried comcast's streaming, directv streaming, youtube's cable package and they were all pretty similar. Now I use an IPTV private provider and the picture quality is at least double what I was getting from the legit paid services and NFPS. How is that even possible? Directv's streaming package for instance is nothing but low res and artifacts on my gigabit connection.
IPTV can NEVER be better than the official providers. IPTV are restreams of the official feeds. Simple elementary!
It's not necessarily "better", in terms of quality.
You get what you pay for, and in some cases the picture quality may rival that of cable/satellite providers, but in most cases you may notice a little degradation in channel quality.
The biggest pro for IPTV is cost. You aren't spending an arm and a leg to watch live TV/sports anymore and supporting these major companies who gut you with their select packages.

What provider are you referring to? I've never encountered "better" from any IPTV provider. Some are "almost as good", some suck, but I've never seen better.
Sky made a big mistake with Sky Q boxes. Have an issue where image on BBC1 HD judders every few mins. Tried changing all settings eventually got box replaced but still an issue!! Never had an issue with sky plus box...So that's how I got into iptv as it never judders. Poor service from sky... Also I could get a freeview box but now sky have changed lnb so need to change that! Grrr.... card sharing was the glory days!
psVUE is the best, Infact most probably are using their streams. 720/1080 60fps
