VPN question

by venomxt12

I have two providers whom im very happy with, however if i change vpn servers it goes black for 15 minutes then carries on working again.
I'm guessing it's some sort of way to stop people using the line twice at the same time ?

Thanks

I'd like to offer some help. Are you switching server while streaming and that's why it goes "black"? Are you experiencing buffering and that's why you're switching servers? You said you're happy with your VPN providers (why have two?), buy one good one and you'll rarely need to switch servers and will get very near your full bandwidth. 3 very good ones are:

  1. ExpressVPN: r/ https://antennajunkies.com/recommends/expressvpn/
  2. PureVPN: r/ https://antennajunkies.com/recommends/purevpn/
  3. IPVanish: r/ https://antennajunkies.com/recommends/ipvanish/

That's a bit weird, I have switched servers multiple times when using NordVPN and IPTV but there was never a 15 minute lag. Are you switching the servers mid streaming? Because depending on the server speed, it might take some time to disconnect, reconnect and load up the streamed content again

Maybe it has something to do with the ISP lock

Are VPNs mandatory? I use VPNs for your basic "cover your own ass" protocol.

You must be using hls for streaming but 15mins is little extreme.

Try not to switch vpn servers when you are watching any live content. That may also be delaying you further. If the website has some sort of IP lock in place though, this won't matter.

But it sounds like you are not properly closing your IPTV connection's session and it takes awhile for the server to recognize that you are no longer there.

Does anyone use IPTV Express and use VPN with it? on their website they say they do not allow VPN so i am little curious before giving them a try.
