I've been on my trial-pilgrimage and found two providers that check all the boxes I'm looking for in a service. Vaders offers the fullest EPG for US channels, but I really enjoy Gears EPG with Mayfair and Kodi. Gears just doesn't offer m3u for my DVR so I won't be moving on with them. I'd really like to utilize Vaders with Mayfair if possible.
Yes it's possible but it will take some time. It only works on the kodi version tho. What you have to do is save all the channels from Vaders that you want to use in the mayfair guide as favorites. Once you open up mayfair's guide select menu, then choose stream, go to your favorites and for example replace a ESPN channel from Vader and add it to the ESPN listing on mayfair. You have to do that for every channel you want to replace. I have two setups on different boxes, on one I have the regular gears channels and the other I replaced all of gears channels with vader streams.

You could just use an external epg provider like iptv-epg.com or xtream editor. Should solve the problem
